Day and night, Marie Curie meets the needs of terminally ill patients, as well as their families and carers, with skilful care and compassion.
We know collaboration and adaptability, at every level, create the best end of life care. For decades now, we have worked alongside the health and care community, evolving services and sharing knowledge.
We also use our charitable income to fund research and to provide valuable sources of information and support for patients, families and health professionals.
Right now, we’re needed more than ever. We’ve been on the front line, day and night, seven days a week, throughout the pandemic. Our services help people to stay out of hospital, relieving pressure on the system and providing vital care. But this crisis has given us a glimpse of the future, too. A future where the number of people in the UK aged 85 or older will double in the next 25 years. Where our ageing population will mean confronting dying, death and bereavement is a part of life for many more of us.
